Headcanons

This will continuously updated. See also, 30 Days of Character Development, as well as my headcanon tag.

• Headcanon setting for HiNaBN is New Jersey, around Newark possibly. I don’t tend to directly mention a city in rp, but I feel it’s worth mentioning.
• His Play By is Nathan Fillion
• Some liberties are taken with basing Lamont’s personality off of Fillion’s role as Captain Malcolm Reynolds from Firefly. This typically tends to pertain to his morals (morality vs. legality, ‘Someone tries to kill you, you try to kill them right back’, etc), the way he cares and shows affection for other people, and a tendency to refer to his job as ‘perfectly legitimate business enterprises’, despite their questionable legality.
• Lamont is heteroflexible
• He is a FANTASTIC cook. It’s one of his main hobbies, and will tend to make enough to feed a small army. Check out his food tag!
• His mother taught him to cook, in the hopes it would help him find a girl.
• His eyes are hazel, though there is a great deal more brown than green, causing them to appear brown unless inspected closely.
• His mother is the Italian one. Her name is Rosina.
• His father is French. His name is François, but he is often called ‘Frank’ or ‘Frankie’ by his wife’s family.
• Lamont is an only child. 
• Yes, he loves vampires. One could go even far as to say he has a kink for them.
• He’s a bit of a junkie for being bitten/fed off of by vampires.
• That being said, his blood type is AB+
• Lamont is a momma’s boy and he doesn’t wear the pants in a relationship. Though if asked, he would probably insist otherwise. Except the mamma’s boy thing. He would be a bad Italian if he didn’t love his mother.
• To contradict the previous headcanon slightly, Lamont is submissive by default, but still perfectly capable of taking the lead if needed or desired.
• He loves teasing, and being teased.
• He is a Capricorn (This is apparently canon, as his canon Facebook page lists his D.O.B. as January 11th, 1977)
• He is 5’11” (Apparently also canon)
• Lamont is very loyal, and despite the often unsavory qualities of his profession, he makes a legitimate effort to be a good and dependable businessman.
• He will not disclose delivery or client details, no matter how much you beg.
• His favorite musical artist is Frank Sinatra. Though his musical taste varies between jazz, classic rock, and bluegrass.
• *Some notes on his appearance, as well as his home* Lamont goes to great lengths to protect himself, and the ones he considers close to him. He is almost never without a small collection of talismans and relics of protection from various beliefs (crosses, pentagrams, etc), usually made from silver, as well as small vials of holy water. He was also gifted with a small hex bag for protection from a voodoo witch that keeps him from being harmed as long as he is wearing it. His home, as well as the hideouts he has, are all protected by runes and wards of various kinds. These include, but are not limited to, runes that prevent anyone intending violence or ill will from entering, and declined entrance without express permission. Please keep this in mind, you cannot just have your character burst into his home and fuck everything up.
